Bengal cats are a hybrid kind of cats, which are very comfortable and cozy naturally with a very wild look. They are also very intelligent and alert. Along with being friendly, they are very good at sports. Their distinguishable characteristics are grading such as spots and rosette. It has very close resemblance to the Asian Leopard Cat and from its taxonomic name was the word ‘Bengal’ derived.

Bengal’s have an ordinary anatomy. Males weigh up to fifteen pounds and females weigh up to ten pounds. The crosswise lines on the side of their face, which starts from the end of their eyes and go up to the back of their cervix, are called mascara. Their bodies have spotting which is usually rosette or some even have a marbled coat pattern. Bengal’s with spots, with more than one color, are the ones, which are more marketable. The color of spots varies from rust to coffee brown to cocoa to gray and black. Their tail, hind legs and fore limbs has balanced stripes. Bengal’s cats win championships in most of the competitions held to award the most exotic pet because of their looks, intelligence and friendly nature.

Snakes are bough less, cold-blooded and scaled reptiles belonging to the order of Squamata. Maintaining snakes as pets can be easy only if their demands are interpreted profoundly. Their needs are varied from other reptilians. Owners must also realize that some of them grow very heavy and can get life-threatening with the passage of time. There are various types of snakes obtainable for pet owners with different orientations. Every snake has different diet and need different surroundings to live in. Snakes, which are kept as exotic pets, range from common garter snake to pythons. Snakes occasionally also cross forty years of age; so potential owners should be aware of this fact and be ready to make lifetime commitment before thinking of keeping snakes as pets.
